How does the Braintrust Screening process work?
To go through the Braintrust screening process, you first have to complete your profile. Then apply to your first job. Once you complete both steps, a screening invite from email@example.com will arrive in your email inbox within 24 hours.
What is an Approved Talent badge?
An Approved Talent badge will help you stand out to clients as a vetted talent on the network. We require all job applicants to earn their badge before we share their job applications with employers.
How do I know when my profile is completed and I can start applying for jobs?
The profile completion percentage is shared on your Talent home in the lower left hand corner. Once your profile is complete, you will see that your profile has been completed 100%.
I am interested in a job and have questions, who can I reach out to to learn more about the job?
Unless you have earned the Approved Talent badge, you won’t have the ability to connect with talent matchers or employers. Here are a few quick tips that will help your profile and applications stand out to potential clients:
- Fill out your profile in a way that is organized and shares relevant experience.
- Only apply for jobs you’d be the best fit for and are excited about.
- Make sure you read the job description thoroughly and research the client when applying for a job.
- Should you need to share additional information specific to a job, you can do so during the application process.
- Due to volume, not every application will be responded to. If you’re a fit for a role, someone will proactively reach out to you for next steps.
Clients are looking for talent who are the best fit for their roles. Just like any job application platform, there are many qualified applicants for any one role. It’s ultimately up to the client to choose the best candidate for them.

When should I expect to hear back if I have passed screening and earned my approved talent badge?
You should hear back about your screening results within 3 business days of your screening.
When should I expect to hear back when applying for Jobs as an Approved Talent on the Network?
Only applications from profiles with the Braintrust Approved Talent badge will be shown to the clients. Every client is different and will have their own hiring timeline, which should be communicated during your interview process.
If you recently went through the screening process and were not approved, you can try again in 6 months.
