How do I view and pay invoices?
You can always view/pay talent invoices, and our 15% fee invoice, here (https://app.usebraintrust.com/employer/invoices/).
Please email accounting@usebraintrust.com if you need to add anyone else on your team to your account to view invoices.
To pay, you have a few options:
1) Pay on our platform via ACH or Credit Card.
ACH is free, Credit Cards carry a 3.9% processing fee. You can invite any of your payment processing team to your account, so they can add a payment method and eventually pay invoices directly on our platform.
Step 1: Log into your account
Step 2: Click your profile on the top right
Step 3: Click "Payment methods"
Step 4: Click the "Add Payment Methods" button
*Make sure you have 2fa setup prior. If you need to setup 2fa, follow the "Setup 2-Step Authentication" flow.
Step 5: Click your payment method of choice
Step 6: Fill out either your card or ACH information
Step 7: Click "Save"
2) Pay via Wire Transfer or bill.com.
You can select any of the payment methods we support shown at the bottom of that page, just let us know what to expect.
3) Pay a difference way.
If you will not be paying on platform and need to set up a different way to pay invoices, please email accounting@usebraintrust.com and someone from our team will assist you.
Why can't I pay an invoice after adding my bank account?
Bank accounts need to be verified prior to use. Please go to this page to verify the account: https://app.usebraintrust.com/employer/edit/payment_methods/
Click the Verify button on the bank account card and enter the two small deposit amounts you received in your bank account.
NOTE: If you see the same account was added twice prior to verification, it's important to use the latest deposit amounts to verify the most recently added account.
If it fails, the best approach is to delete all accounts and then start fresh by adding a single account to generate two new microdeposits.

What is the Braintrust Fee Invoice?
Each time a person submits an invoice, Braintrust automatically creates a 2nd invoice for our 15% fee.
Why can't I pay the fee invoice?
We delay the due date on our fee invoices to make sure the Talent has been paid successfully. It rarely fails, but in some cases, if the payment doesn't go through, a client could choose to pay by Credit Card, which would change the amount of the fee invoice.
What is the invoice period?
If you receive an invoice batch, we report the period the invoice batch covers. Weekly batches are sent every Monday and monthly ones are sent every 1st of each month.
Can I pay off-platform in local currency to avoid conversion fees?
When talent submits an invoice via Braintrust you may:
1) Pay the invoices just like any other talent you have hired.
2) If you prefer, you could pay them "off-platform" by any way you both agree to.
Once the payment clears, your invoice will be marked as paid on our platform.
How do I delete my account?
Accounts cannot be deleted after an invoice is sent.
As an alternative to deleting an account, you may keep private certain details of your profile on the Braintrust marketplace (Total amount spent, Number of jobs posted): https://app.usebraintrust.com/settings/visibility/
