To ensure your open roles stay relevant and visible to top talent, we’ve introduced a new feature that automatically pauses jobs after 90 days.
🔹 What is changing?
Jobs will now be automatically paused 90 days after their creation date.
This applies to:
• Jobs that remain unfilled
• Jobs that have hired talent (pausing the job does not impact any active contracts)
We’ve also applied this update retroactively to pause existing jobs that are already over 90 days old.
🔹 Will I be notified before a job is paused?
Yes. 30 days before a job is set to expire, we’ll send an email notification to:
- The employer associated with the job for self-served accounts
- The Braintrust Matcher for managed accounts
This gives you time to take action if you’d like to keep the job open.
🔹 How can I extend a paused job?
• If you’re using the platform in self-serve mode, you can unpause the job directly in the app. Once unpaused, the job will remain open for another 90 days.
• If you have an assigned Braintrust matcher, feel free to reach out to them—they can help you extend or update the job’s expiration date on your behalf.
🔹 Why is this helpful?
This update helps ensure that your open roles stay fresh and relevant, and that candidates are applying to jobs that are still actively being filled.
