What is a job owner?
The job owner is the designated team member responsible for a specific job. They are the only one who:
- Receives interview completion notifications
- Sees analytics for that job on the Dashboard page
Every job has one owner. You can view and update the owner in the Job Detail page.
π How do job owner notifications work?
Job owners receive alerts when new AI interviews are completed for their jobs. You can control notification frequency from Settings β Notifications:
- Instant (default)
- Daily
- Weekly
- Never
If set to daily or weekly, interview updates will be grouped into one email.
π What data do I see on the Dashboard?
The Dashboard is now scoped to job ownership:
- Recruiters only see metrics for the jobs they own
- Admins see all jobs under their company account
- Recruiters who donβt own any jobs will see an empty state
π To avoid this, make sure job ownership is correctly assigned across your team.
π What changed on the Jobs page?
The Jobs page now defaults to different views based on your role:
- Recruiters will see My Jobs (only jobs they own)
- Admins will see All Jobs by default
You can toggle between views using the filter at the top of the page.
βοΈ How do I view or change the job owner?
- Open any job from the Jobs page
- Youβll see a Job Owner field under the job title
- If youβre the owner or an admin, youβll be able to click and reassign it to someone else in your company
π Who can transfer job ownership?
Only two types of users can reassign job ownership:
- The current job owner
- A company admin
Ownership can only be transferred to another recruiter or admin within the same company.
π‘ If a job owner is deactivated, the system will automatically reassign the job to an active admin on the account.
When ownership is changed:
- A confirmation UI will appear
- All future interview notifications will go to the new owner
