Braintrust sends payments through Wise and Stripe, two of the world’s most trusted international payment networks. If your bank account is located in a supported country, your earnings are deposited directly into your account once your contract is complete.
If your country isn’t currently supported, you can still apply to opportunities where the client pays you directly.

What happens if my country isn’t supported?
You can still use Braintrust and apply to jobs. However, your job feed will only show opportunities where clients can pay you directly. These roles are clearly labeled in the platform.
We’re continuously expanding payment coverage, so supported countries may change over time.
Can I update my banking information later?
Yes. You can update your banking details anytime from your account settings or profile page.
If you switch from an unsupported country to a supported one, your full job feed should become available within a few minutes.
Is my banking information shared with clients?
No. Your banking information is kept private and is only accessible to you and the Braintrust payments team.
Clients can view your profile details, such as your skills, work history, and rates, but they will never see your banking information.
